The host supported us for an early check-in on request as we had a toddler. The place is serene, quiet and extremely private. The direction to home needs a little look around as the map doesn’t take you there straight. But its easy to find. Once you there you are in love with the place instantly. The harbour is a short walk away with the Fairy Glen walk and the costal John O’Groats trail. We had a lovely stay. Massive sea cliffs, caves, arches, and sea birds just go on and on. This property allowed us to be all together, plenty of room for cooking, eating together and sleeping. The view from the front of the lodge overlooks the distant sea, adding to the charm. We particularly enjoyed the dining area, lounge, and the front patio with a comfortable sofa, which provided a perfect spot to relax after a long day. The communication was very nice, the place very clean, everything (except dishwasher tablets) was there. The bathroom was cute and modern, the beds comfortable. You could also sleep well on the sofa bed (there were also plenty of pillows!). Beautiful terrace! Highly recommend!
